Where We Belong - Brighten
He was drinking at a party
On a raging New Year’s Eve
He had to be home early
He knew he had to leave
“Honey do you need a ride”
His girlfriend sweetly said
He just smiled back at her
And quickly shook his head
“I’ve got to leave right now
So I’ll just take my car…
But…
He looks down in the dirtHe blushes at the clouds
They stay still; they have not moved for a thousand years
What can he do,
when everything has been frozen?
He’s biting off the edge, he is leaving it broken
He rolls his eyes at the argument
And hopes to find some movement
But he is tied…
Even though I think what he did was discusting and wrong I think it is so disrespectful the way people are treating his death and some of the things they are saying.
Gahhhh I want him so bad it’s insane.
It drives me even more insane knowing that I can have him but if I choose to everything else is ruined.
Shit this is hard.
Love is not fake. Love holds a category of its own. It’s in the realm between serenity and fear, sanity and insanity, heaven and hell. It’s a doorway to life, intertwining with death. It’s her. It’s him. It’s me. It’s you.
It’s what we need.
